Limmat Technologies, Inc. (“Company,” we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information that may be collected by our software and mobile phone application (“Services”), that we may collect when you visit www.vispaflow.com (“Site”) or other websites managed by the Company, or that you may otherwise share with the Company.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not use our Site or Services. By accessing our Site, using our Services, or voluntarily sharing your personal information with us you agree to this Privacy Policy.

Updates to this Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we update our Privacy Policy, we will take appropriate measures to inform you, consistent with the significance of the changes we make. If you do not agree with our changes, you should cease use of our Site and Services immediately.

Children

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from individuals under 18 years of age. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of an individual under 18, we will delete the information as soon as possible.

Information You Provide Us

Our Services may collect certain information from individuals such as name, address, date of birth, location information, and protected health information covered under HIPAA. Users of our Services are responsible for providing data subjects with proper notices when their personal data is collected.

Information We Automatically Collect

When you download, access, and use our mobile app, it may use technology to automatically collect usage details, device information, and location information. Device information includes your device’s unique device identifier, IP address, operating system, and telephone number. The mobile app may also access metadata and other information associate with other files stored on your device.

We automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device when you utilize our Services and log into your account.

We automatically collect this information using the following technologies:

  • To third parties to market their products or services to you if you have not opted out of these disclosures. We contractually require these third parties to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.

Accessing and Correcting Your Information

You may send us an email at contact@vispaflow.com to request access to, correct or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

Privacy Technology Practices

Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers have incorporated “do not track” features to enable users to make privacy and security choices. By using these settings, your browser may send a signal to our Site not to collect tracking information. Our Site does not honor these do not track signals.

Data Security

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers behind firewalls.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. We urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Site like in customer reviews.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Site. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site.

Data Retention

Personal information collected by our Services is retained for as long as we have a business relationship with you. We retain the personal information that you provide on our Site for up to 7 years after you have shared the information. The Company may retain personal information that we have anonymized indefinitely.

California’s Shine the Light Law

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits users of our Site that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of the information you provide through the Site to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Your State Privacy Rights

Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and Utah each provide their state residents with certain rights over their personal information. If you are a resident of one of these states, the following provisions may apply to you.

Sale of Personal Data

We do not process your personal data for the purposes of targeted advertising nor do we sell your personal information.

Your Right to Know, Delete and Correct

You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal data over the past 12 months. Once we receive and validate your request, we will include a list of your personal data that may have been disclosed and the categories of third parties the information may have been disclosed to. 

You may request that we delete any of your personal data that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. You may also request that we correct any inaccurate personal information we may be retaining. Once we receive your request and confirm your identity, we will review your request. We may deny your deletion request if retaining the information is proper and necessary or if an exception allowing us to retain the information applies.

If your request is approved, we will delete or deidentify the relevant information and will direct our service providers to take similar action.

Exercising Your Rights to Know, Delete and Correct

Only you, or your authorized representative may make a request to know or delete related to your personal data. We may ask for your name, email address and account information to verify your identity or your authorized representative’s identity.

You may only submit a request to know twice within a 12-month period. We endeavor to substantively respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt, unless we require an extension. If we reasonably require an extension we will inform you of the reason and extension period.

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your data rights and do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.
